Or god forbid, take pride in it. Take pride in growing, teaching, directing your child into a great man or woman instead of this neutral bullshit. It's a damn copout. You don't have to be great yourself because your kid is going to be "neutral" which just means they're going to suck at life.

The only conclusion I've made for myself thus far is that these people have deep-seated insecurities with their self-image. But instead of working through their issues and gaining the confidence and strength that come with introspection, they denounce gender as a whole. They want to pretend to be "above it" somehow, as if they're too intellectual or in touch to be bothered with it.
It really comes off as a very juvenile kind of 'well, I don't care 'cause I don't want it anyway' kind of defense mechanism. And of course, there are plenty of liberals, young kids looking for a place to fit in, and general bored/lonely people who want to jump in on the bandwagon to be above everyone else.
It's a tough choice.
WTF is a kid being forced into a transgender role? Let the kids be kids.
