That said, I am looking into beau and will base my vote on whether he deserves it. I will say again, The best way to continue losing is to keep playing their game.

It's better than the alternative. That's the reality of what we have to work with now. It may not be perfect but it's an improvement. That's all I'm saying. It's not ideal, but it's better than what we have. At least we're not taking a step back if Beauprez is elected. How sad it would be to win back the state legislature only to have Hickenlooper re-elected.

I get it. You and I want the same thing. Real, honest to God conservatives we can feel good about supporting. We just don't see eye to eye on how to get there.

ETA: And, sometimes that just isn't a choice. We had that choice in Mike Kopp. But the people voted and we got a less desirable alternative. How are you going to fix that? It wasn't some "dem-lite republicrat wall-street worshipping" conspiracy that gave us Beauprez. It was the citizens of Colorado. What can be done about that other than trying to convince people to vote for the real conservative? That just doesn't play to everyone, obviously.

And 3rd party candidates don't play at all. With them you get nothing other than maybe some self-satisfaction. But self-satisfaction doesn't keep liberals from passing stupid laws.
