I just realized the tags on my F250 expired in December. Oh well, the furthest it's been driven since then has bee to the dumpster on the far side of the building...S'pose I should go over to the Taj Mahal and get some fresh tags for it sometime before the snow flies.

Hahaha! I've never owned a car in my life. All have been full size trucks. My wife has always said, "real men drive trucks". How right she is.

Can't answer that one for you, Ray. I've had a pickup as my every day driver for forty years. Well I did drive a Dodge 3/4 ton van for a couple of years.

Trucks are like garages, where if you don't have one, you don't need one. When I didn't have a truck or garage, I never took on stuff that needed a truck or a garage. I had a truck once, and it was great, but I only had it the months before totaling it, then getting a baby. Now I have a garage and feel like I need a truck again. My Amigo is smaller than most cars I've owned as far as interior space. When I bought a gas range for our house, I had to take it out of the box in the parking lot like in the OP's story with the grill.

EDIT: I have zero issue driving a minivan. I tried to convince my wife to but one but she wouldn't.

If they still made them four wheel drive, I'd seriously look into one. 3 kids in a Wrangler is not pretty.

An AWD minivan would be tits. I'm sure someone makes one. You did say 4wd though.

Can't afford to buy one, let alone drive one. Not saying I wouldn't love to have one...but since I've had my license I've either been in school, unemployed, underemployed, newly married or having kids and in every case, I've been too poor to own one.

I do have an Exploder..er...Explorer that we use to cart the rugrats around...I would rather take the bus than ever own a minivan though.
