I wouldn't panic but I'd be aware of what our government is doing on our behalf, which is exactly ZERO.As a rule, one should not panic at whatever crisis has momentarily fixed the attention of cable news producers. But the Ebola outbreak in West Africa, which has migrated to both Europe and America, may be the exception that proves the rule. There are at least six reasons that a controlled, informed panic might be in order.

We have started slowly gathering supplies and stocking up. If nothing happens, no biggie, we have extra dry goods for a long time... If however shit does start to go, we will have already been stocked up and ready without having to deal with the rest of the crowd IF this gets out of hand and there is a mass panic. Plan for the worst, hope for the best.

The news of people coming out of quarantine and that African country going 42 days without a case is making me relax a little.
