I gotta say...as far as strictly coverage goes...CNN has had the best coverage this evening so far.

Agreed, no one else was on it. I was amazed at the stupidity of the reporters on the ground and the liberal slant by CNN during the whole thing. Could we have expected anything else?

Obama's split screen speech was very telling as well.

It was/is really bad. ...like gasoline on a fire. This morning I heard, "Ferguson is in chaos because the grand jury REFUSED to indict."

If you really want to lose brain cells, Yahoo posted a video as soon as the Grand Jury made their decision. They continued to use buzz words and misleading language to make it sound like an execution. And just like with Trayvon, they made sure to use a photo of him that was four or five years old.

I have two LEO friends who will no longer carry SIGs. One, attempted to fire his SIG at an assailant and the same thing happened...bad trigger spring. He dove into his cruiser and barely got the muzzle of the AR moving towards the assailant when he thought better of it and gave up.

I think that's the main rationale. Much as the machismo would want me to stay and defend my property, insurance will replace it and it's just not worth being tarred and feathered in public by the likes of Al Sharpton and the idiot talking heads in the MSM. This was nothing more than a person who made a very poor decision to attack another person and as a result paid with his life. The lesson learned should be to not attack another person, ever. But that lacks the skin color element. This had nothing to do with race, except the exploitation of it all by the race terrorists. Obummer's speech was a travesty wherein he indicted himself for breaking the law, but he knows he will never be held accountable for his trouncing of the constitution nor the law. But it does show the rest of the world that we put a hypocritical, racist, elitist into the highest office in the land. Guess that new American Dream...do what ever you want except have integrity.
