53 actually. Good enough for first loser. Stu shot a 54 for the win. But, I cleaned the sticks with the sun right in my face. Seeing the targets was a mother.

Two years ago I shot a 57 with 3 misses off sticks on stage 7. That was the first month of that pile of logs. I vowed to never again screw up that bad.

That is a victory in itself. Those first 2 targets are tiny! Nice shooting Hoser

Shot an IDPA Match today. Had a real good bunch of people on my squad. I always enjoy shooting my little 686.

Broke out my AR-15 and got a zero on it after swapping out scopes.

Ran my new Shield with my new holster (Sweetwater Saddlery) and Gold Dots through my regular drills to make sure it's good to go for carry. It is.

Went today, for the first time in months, since I didn't see my work schedule coinciding with any nice weather for the near future.

Put 200rds of .22 through the Sig to break in the conversion kit. CCI Standard velocity is just barely enough to cycle it. I'd experience one ftf per mag. Could be the 2nd round, the 8th, or the 10th, but there was a failure every mag except for one. Shot Remington Thunderbolt through it, which ran flawlessly, but also had the tendency to spit still burning powder out of the breech and onto my arms or face, which was uncomfortable.

Put 90 rounds through the AK, and a couple clips through the SKS. At some point during the first clip, I managed to eject a casing so that it landed in my front left pocket. I didn't notice it in there until I was taking my phone out of said pocket, it was already cool by then.

Took (dragged) the kiddos to the range. They didn't want to leave once they started shooting.

Daughter shooting the Walther P22, no failures with the good stuff. She liked the G19 9mm once I got her to shoot it a few times. Ut oh.

Bellavite1 didn't scare them off either!

All the holes/impact marks on the ceiling of that range are terrifying...

Glad you had fun. P22 is THE BEST handgun for teaching people how to shoot.

Spent all day Monday at the range driving a bobcat moving lots of dirt. The only good part about the cold/snow was that it kept the dust down.

Pfffft ... I prefer the Ruger Mk III 22/45 ... once they have that down, it's easy to migrate them to a Hi-Power or 1911A1 and then to other centerfire pistols.

I had the MKII there also, because I know it WILL shoot. I wanted to make it a positive range trip.
