    Understood and appreciated.

'Fuck'em' is MUCH easier than 'fix em'.

'Fix em' takes more time and effort. And I understand that your time is valuable.

Just recognize that the tactics I listed above are being used against everyone else that is 'clay' - in one form or another.

"Well, I guess it's a good thing I'm not unbalanced like the Democrats who shot up Gabby Giffords, the theater in Aurora, or Virginia Tech ... or someone who would even think of something like that."

I've always found replying at a high volume " I'm sorry ma'am, I'm not into to swinging" will totally throw them off once everyone starts to stare at them.

I dunno. I tried to engage many of these fools on Twitter only to have "Reasoned Discourse" occur, aka name calling and blocking. But twitter is a special type of hell, so...

I admire your sentiment, I really do. But I only have so much time in life, and I have found it mostly wasted on those who have already formed an opinion. You can educate the ignorant, you can sway the open minded. You will not change the mind of someone who's opinion is firmly set. The best you will get, and seldom at that, is someone who now believes you are ok to own a gun, but everyone else still isn't. I will grant you that I certainly don't know whether this woman could be swayed. I do know that I would not be the one to do it, particularly before I've had my Grande Flat White.

Perhaps that I was in the 1%?

Uniform of our industry. Never go to Target when you're wearing the red one, or Walmart when you are wearing the blue.

I couldn't agree with you more.

And she probably wouldn't change her mind after one conversation. But she might stop to think and that at least interrupts the continuous flow of bullshit that she is used to consuming. Maybe it is a start. Maybe it is a waste of time.

All we can do is: try to change opinions ourselves, bitch about how things are, bitch louder in the hopes that someone else will listen and change things for us, or go to war for what we believe in.

I prefer to start at the first step and skip the other two in the middle. 'Bitching' doesn't accomplish anything and we have far too much of it going on around here.
