Whatever that thing is, it has abnormally long thumbs. Wonder if it could be lured away from the forest with Reeses Pieces?

It is terrible to contemplate how few politicians are hanged. - The Cleveland Press, March 1, 1921, GK Chesterton
It may not be the most popular view on here, but I don't really have a problem with these guys buying guns for protection. That's exactly what the 2nd Amendment is for. If they want some weapons because they legitimately fear government oppression, then they have every right to do so. In this respect, they are only marginally different than most people here (although they do have a long ways to go).
Now its a completely different story they use them to pursue acts of terror. That is unacceptable. I am 100% certain they will be swiftly exterminated if it ever comes to that.
Best case scenario, they buy weapons, realize what they have, feel better, and learn some responsibility as a result. I do believe that an armed society is a polite/respectful society, even in the case of left vs right. I learned this through my interest in firearms. And I do hope they realize this at some point as well.
Where have you been? They are already using weapons, just because it hasn't been a firearm (yet), they've already displayed their intent, do you think just because they are now buying firearms, that they will have some sort of an epiphany making them responsible gun owning citizens? Please!
