Ya, I caught that after watching it from Doc's Hulu link. Thanks Doc. I wish it was Carinab too, or Julie G, or Randi Rogers, or Jessie Abbate... Man, I just can't believe Jessie could have ever contacted them for this show and not got chosen. Seriously, she would have jumped the ratings 3 fold easily. Considering her cowboy, USPSA, Steel Challange, and 3-gun backgrounds (not to mention she's absolutely smokin hot) she would have done very well.

    Default choad

I'm pretty sure that my eight year old can shoot 100 yards and hit a 12" target with an O3. This guy is a choad. If the sights were off.. So what.. I thought that a trained shooter would be able to zero in a few shots WITHOUT a spotter.. This idiot couldnt do it in 30+ with a spotter.. His rounds must have been in the trees..

I thought that his spotter hit the target at 50 yards with no problem? So the rifle could not of been off that much I would think.

I also believe if they do not like you they can just wait and put you up against someone thats good in a certain sport.

    You're the choad...

He can make that shot with his fricken pistol in that many rounds. There no doubt in my mind there was something jacked with that rifle. If the sights were loose, it wouldn't have mattered what he did until he tightened them and started all over again.

I'm fairly confident your eight year old won't want to shoot an O3 anymore after the first round's recoil. Stop talking out your butt.

Uhm.. whats with the personal attack? Was that you in the episode? I watched it and the guy sucks.. I got my idea of this by watching the show. Maybe the sun was in his eyes, or his gloves were to big, or the earth's rotation threw off all 30+ rounds..... Whatever. No professional in my book.

There is so much drama already invovled in our sport. We really dont need anymore. Been to a gun show lately. I really think if they took the drama out of the show it would still be good for the sport. I think they tried to do it by having people vote in front of everyone.

I know I wont be watching the show. I would rather see some history but I know that wont happen.

You ever meet him before, Mike Seeklander? You ever seen him shoot other than in the highly edited hour of the TV show? You ever shot against him in competition?

Come on... Use just a little critical thinking here... This guy was a Marine, has shot competitively for years; pistol, shotgun, and rifle, teaches shooting for competiton and tactical purposes at one of the largest and highest rated shooting academies in the world... He routinely wins major competitions, winning the USPSA Area 4 Production Division (one of biggest competitions in the USA every year) less than a month after this show was done filming.

His skill level is only in question by keyboard commandos who have nothing to do with shooting at the higher levels, and don't have a clue about shooting at that high a level. His ability to compete at stress levels equal to professional sports is tried and tested, and he wins. I've seen Mike shoot before first hand, in the real world without editing, and so have a few others on this site. None of them question his skill level or ability to compete.

So, you call him a choad and have come to the conclusion that your eight year old can shoot better than him? Based on an edited one hour TV show. Then you wonder why I spiked you like a volleyball in the thread...

Tell you what. There's a pistol match this coming Saturday at BLGC outside of Ramah, CO. There will be a couple of GM USPSA pistol shooters out there. How about you bring some gear and ammo out there and see where you stand in your view point of shooting skill levels. It will be fair, afterall the "choad" has beaten the GMs that will be there once or twice so they can't be all that good...
