I always had a 50/50 experience with them. some were better than others. Either way, it sucks seeing a long time store like this (or any gun store) close down. I was just talking to a co-worker about them too.

True story... I ran into the guy who owned(?) or was part owner of Jensen's at some point in the past at a small gun shop in Orofino some time in the early spring of 2017. We looked at each other and both had that "I know you" look on our faces. For the life of me I can't remember his name. But he moved up here several years ago to get away from the rat race.

Jeff. he's also a reserve Deputy with the Larimer County Sheriff Department so maybe he'll take this opportunity to go full-time. I don't know though. Hopefully he and Shea both land on their feet as they're both awesome dudes.

Bob?!? You ran into Bob in Idaho?! That's awesome man! He was the original owner and is indeed named Bob Jensen; the store's namesake. His plan for many years was to sell that joint and move to Idaho which is exactly what he did. He talked about selling forever and it wasn't until a heart attack gave him the scare he needed to move on to greener pastures. I'm glad he did finally sell as he seemed super stressed running that joint which I could definitely understand.

I think it's funny that we had a bob sighting somewhere in Idaho. Small world.

Yeah, I guess it was Bob. We only talked briefly and I don't remember much of the conversation.

Bob was a real character, I only talked with him maybe 20 plus times. He never held back what was on his mind.

Saddened to hear this. They were always helpful to me and my father.

You cannot sell things you don't have on hand and a lot of firearm purchases are via window shopping. They have had almost no stock since being bought out.
