I wonder if some of those people later that night had a similar but guilty realization, that what they had done at the capitol could have been the spark that started a civil war and ended our Nation.
"Polite Society" is an obscenely thin veneer that exists in the relative calm of "normalcy"...

Disrupt that "normalcy" and that thin veneer crumbles incredibly quickly.
