It's also good to top it off so we can all leave them idling for 24hours straight to sufficiently warm up the planet to help melt all the snow off .00001% faster, thereby maybe saving a fish in the streams from dying from excessive salting of the roads.

So, is anyone seeing any of this big global warning event yet?

Zero percent here in Thornton right now.

That reminds me of my first trip to Africa. 30 day overland tour going from Nairobi to Johannesburg, mostly camping along the way. One gal on the tour had brought a case of condoms; I forget the total count, 100, 150? She did think to bring a clothesline -- one of those 6 ft jobbies that stretches across a shower with suction cups on both ends. I took 2 lengths (100 ft each) of paracord so she got to hang her stuff up to dry anyway (as did the others on the trip).

FWIW, I get a lot of takeout through the week but I'd still keep more than 2 days worth of food in the pantry just in case.

No precipitation here yet (Morrison/Littleton area).

But my fake LED fireplace is ready to keep me warm if I get snowed in like the shining.

And I bought all the eggs bread and milk I could find so I don't starve when I can't get to chipotle. That's survival food. You can make anything with eggs bread and milk. Like french toast or even just dry toast. Possibilities are endless.

But seriously, buying eggs bread and milk is so boring. They should change the recommendation to steak potatoes and bourbon.

If I'm going to be stuck, I'm going to eat good.

Current radar. Nothing happening anytime soon. Maybe late morning. We'll see.

You didn't say how many condoms she had left at the end of the trip.

We also didn't hear how she was, as a fellow traveler, of course.
