Let me clarify, you don?t have to wait for them to call and get a blessing over the phone before you can leave with your purchase when you have a carry permit.
North Carolina was also this way if you had a carry permit. Unfortunately in North Carolina if you didn?t have a carry permit you had to go to your local sheriff and get a pistol purchase permit each time you wanted to buy a handgun. The legislature tried to undo the Jim Crow holdover law this year but the Dem governor vetoed it.
