Seems like contractors are just obeying the threats even though there literally isn't a single legal document been issued by the feds that mandate vax for contractors. Right?
EXACTLY MANDATES, THREATS, YOU NEED TO, ETC

Yet NOT ONE piece of legislation, state or federal has been proposed, voted on, and signed in to law. Why is that. I've asked my state reps, still waiting for an answer.

Easiest way to fix the supply chain is. Hire the cartels.

They never have an issue getting things in to the country

They're already government contractors, so do they have to vax too?

AFAIK the deadline to submit a medical exemption in your case could be as soon as October 25th. Just based off my gov dealings... So try to get something in before then, despite the illness
Except, my government customer AND my company don't have a form to fill out yet. I spoke to a doctor today at the base where I get medical care and I'm getting a letter on their letterhead authorizing a medical deferral. I got my government POC involved today and after he ran things down for me he said I have to get my corporate leadership to contact my customers contracts person to work the issue for me. I'll be pursuing that on Monday. It appears that there is no official process identified yet for either medical or religious exemptions so each case will have to be handled/processed with a LOT of effort on a case-by-case basis. The trick will be getting my company and management to give a shit enough to put the effort out for me.

They are waiting to see what OSHA regs say and will comply, but won't do anything before it's made official by the feds.

But I don't know what fed mandate there is for fed contractors. I've heard there really isn't one. Nothing on paper.

Ginsue - I hope they accept your temporary medical deferral. There would be no reason to reject it, but so far it seems everything is happening without reason.
Apparently the EO mandate says that any company doing business with the .fed must comply or their contracts will be suspended or cancelled - at least that's how my company (a BIG defense contractor) is taking it. My company had an unannounced telecon yesterday that only a few people heard about in time to listen in on. The company said how they are understanding the mandate is that ALL company employees (working at customer sites, at corporate sites and at home) must be vaccinated by December 8th or the company is not in compliance. So this is how my company is moving forward. Anyone not fully vax'd by Dec 8th will either be let go or put on a leave of absence without pay/benefits (company choice as to how they'll handle each employee).

Probably no legislation because they know it isn't Constitutional and would be ruled as such by a federal court/SCOTUS review. That would knock the entire shit show in the dirt for the Biden administration so they're going to stick with just the EO and not rock the boat since the EO is meeting their goals.

The people who tell Biden what to say do not give a fuck about killing Americans.

Their friends in the media gladly play along.

This walkout movement really needs a popular person or outlet to take the lead. I've seen Nov 1 but I was hoping for the whole week. It has to be timed so it is before the first deadlines to get a first shot but the movement would need tome to grow too. Nov1 seems right.

Honestly, I am a pretty disappointed in the lack of media coverage from the majors about this. If it happens it would be a huge blow to the economy for a few days and Biden will be left trying to explain it.
