this afternoon started to watch Dead Poets Society.

There's a couple of other 1980's era Robin Williams flicks I've been wanting to re-watch:

Ohhh man. What a crazy friggin movie this was! I don't remember everything about it but I do remember finding parts of it very disturbing.

I liked it, very funny.

At times it can be really funny. "funny HA HA", not "funny queer".

I watched Airplane the other night.

I watched Syriana last night for probably the 20th time. It has a little bit of a liberal push to it but what Hollywood movie doesn't...especially with Damon and Clooney. Anyway, if you like middle eastern foreign policy and are up for a good thinking movie (you really have to pay attention) you will like this. It's about oil, kings, radical Islam, DOD, State and CIA stuff. Very well done.

I picked up a kaiser blade just sittin' there by the screen door. Some folks call it a sling blade, I call it a kaiser blade. It gotta long wood handle, kinda like a ax-handle. With a long blade on it, shaped kinda like a bananer. Mm-hmm. Sharp on one edge, dull on the other. What the highwayboys use to cut down weeds and what-not. Well, I went in there in the house, and I hit Jesse Dixon upside the head with. Knocked him off my mother. Mm. I reckon that didn't quite satisfy me. So I hit him again with it in the neck with the sharp edge, just plum near cut his head off. Mm-hmm. Killed him.

Ogen - I've owned Syriana since just after it came out on DVD and still have yet to watch it. I guess I'll have to check it out.

I am pretty sure i've mentioned this here before, but if you enjoyed Syriana you'll enjoy The Kingdom. Much better than I was expecting.

We Three Kings is another Clooney movie in the middle east, set after the first gulf war... been a long time since I've seen it.

I really enjoyed Syriana, but it is a bit hard to follow the first time through
