Question about round counts on used weapons

I had a 10/22 barrel that I know of a verified 30,000 rounds through it before I swapped it with a heavy .920 barrel. still shot good as new.

I think most people guess. some flat lie on round counts. you can tell which guns have a lot of rounds through them.

I think i read where ruger did 30,000 rounds through is SP9 and it was still going strong, so if someone shoots more than that, they are very wealthy and probably wouldn't have had that gun in the first place.

For my ARs and Glocks, I tended to count in cases. this gets me close. For other stuff, I tend to have a fairly good idea.
