A universal cat from Checker (or Orielley's I suppose they call it now) is somewhere around $80 or so. If the one from my truck works you can just have it.
I could weld it on for you for a few slices of pizza...

    Yards can't sell converters.

Just go to the local Walmart. Cruise the lot until you find a suitable donor. 3 minutes with a sawzall. Problem solved.

I would hate to see you go to prison. Just don't get caught. BTW prison does have free internet.

MAF may have caused the meltdown, sounds liked a wasted cat. Fuel pressure regulators and injector problems have plagued the 4.3Ls since they left throttlebody injection. I'd make sure there isnt any fuel pressure bleed down after engine shutdown to be safe.

Hey thanks. I might have boxed or pulled a part for you then since I work at a warehouse for them.

But try giving my work a call. IPW www.IPWparts.com

But if you try summit racing go to one of their distributers over on Santa Fe and Evans in denver.
