I agree, I need to get my gun to the range (with its new MRF rail, vortex flash hider and troy sights) and test those parts out, but I may bring a rubber band with me.

If you didn't want to waste money too quickly, you could always just load a mag with 3 rounds, or however many you want to and bump fire that. At least until you get the hang of it. Heck, I'll probably try it the first time with 6-10 rounds only.

Don't want to piss off the range master, lol!

As soon as you let go of the trigger or release forward pressure on the gun, it'll stop shooting. No real need to half-load your mags. Just gotta remember to let go lol.

Try it and post up the results!
I'm on the fence about getting something like that and the ability to bump fire easily would push me over the fence.

i'm sending my 15-22 in for "new" springs and such. S&W rep said that the blue springs are lighter than the older ones. Maybe that would help with bump firing? I'll try and bump it before I send it out and try it again when I get it back.

Just ask the range Master first before trying it! I had a guy next to me at Cherry Creek get ejected for rapid fire!! AKA Bump Fire. Even though we were the only ones there!!
