At least Trinidad has not changed much, got smaller if ANY change.
I've been here since 1970

I hate you for saying that Ray-ever notice the rail line right behind my place?
Yup- that's the rail line for FasTracks.
May it never be funded.
I remember going to a couple of my dads clients spreads to treat their horses. Those spreads are now under 60' of water- Chatfield Resevoir.
County Line road was a 2 lane roller coaster.
Drive in theaters were at the 4 points of the compass.
Centennial Racetrack.
We used to ride our bikes to the end of Bowles Avenue, lift the bikes over the fence and hike up over the Hogback and camp all weekend. Never locked the bikes and they were always there when we got back.
Colorado Rockies WERE here. Only there was no Dante Bichett or Larry Walker, more like Lanny MacDonald and Crazy George.
Flood of '65- we had close to 300 horses on 5 acres of land-people from Centennial Racetrack hauled them up to our place, we were on the high ground.
A drive to Parker was an adventure and I think I probably shot at the same sand bank previously mentioned at Arapahoe and Parker.
I can remember my dad saying that someday it would be solid houses from Fort Collins to Colorado Springs. We thought he was nuts.
12.00 lift tickets at Loveland Basin.
Getting busted with a 6 inch switchblade by a Littleton cop, only to have him snap the blade off, hand it back to me and tell me "Now you can't hurt yourself with it".
Cinderella City was THE MALL.
Keg parties at C-470 and the Platte (no, a 67 Mustang will not ford a river).
Watching Columbine High get built and my mom going to work there when it opened. She retired from there in 96.
Littleton Airport at Kipling and Coal Mine.
Rocket motor testing at Martin Marietta. The roar was awesome.
Building a muzzle loader for my Industrial Arts class at Heritage High the first year it opened.

Grew up in Glenwood Springs. The western slope has changed a lot too. We didn't get to Denver much, but I remember in 76 the Nuggets we giving Red, White and Blue commerative basketballs to the the first 100 kids in the door at home games. I begged my dad to go so I could get one. No dice. He wasn't driving to Denver and back just to watch a game. That, and we used to go to Stapleton airport.
I can remeber Lakeside shoping center, then Lakeside Mall and and now Lakeside dirt lot. Most all the race tracks we use to race at are gone Englewood speedway, Centrury 21, CDR, Lakeside and a few down in Colorado Springs. I worked across the street from Elitches for 9 years, left Denver for 10 years (lived in Walden for 7yrs and Montrose for 3) and when I came back to work at the same place, Elitches had moved at and housing and stores were in it's place.
The Doc who made most of the referred to "changes" down in Trinidad died a couple/few years ago and his replacement recently moved out to greener pastures (San Francisco)
Now anyone planning on going down to Trinidad for a little "change" can just forget about it or make a little trek out to San Fran.
