I agree, but sometimes It is nice to thinly about how things were when we were young. I learned to shoot where flatirons mall is now. It was a good time shooting prairie dogs with a 10/22 with a 50rd magazine.
Things are different everywhere. Everyone has great memories of when they were kids. that is tje way It should be. I hope my children have those same types of feelings when they have grown up.
so what your saying is instead of realizing that im talking about the booze swilling while shooting , cut you off on the road for no reason , self entitled litter bugs ... wait never mind you have already stated that you felt im talking about you personally . so if you feel like your one of the people im talking about then thats on you .honestly i had no idea you even existed until this thread. also i do something about it all the time so telling me to stfu is way out of line considering i was trying to be lighthearted with you and you took it way too personally . sorry you feel personally attacked .
yep im over it
so i took a drive up 83 and what used to be beautiful open prairie is now mc mansions hell .

Red,White & Blue means Freedom, until its flashing behind you.
My post was nothing more than a reflection of youth, no "hatefulness" implied or intended. I do however understand how natives over say 30 have some animosity to "Transplants".
We have watched as our state has turned into the very thing a lot of the "Transplants" escaped from.
Take my tongue in cheek statement where I told Ray1970 that I "hate" him- he can't wait for the northern end of FasTracks to go live so he can hop on the rail and head downtown. I would love to make "Shermans Neckties" from the rails, they are 75' from my back fence. I don't want light rail, subways or any other crap like that anywhere near me. That's what Chicago, Boston and New York are there for as far as I'm concerned.
Colorado had always been a very conservative state. In the last 20 years we have seen Denver turn into the 3rd most "gay friendly" city only surpassed by San Fran and NYC. We have seen agricultural and livestock ways of life die a slow death, only to see it replaced by "urban sprawl".
Take the last Governors election for instance: when you broke down the results by counties it was quite revealing. Naturally the front range with Boulder and Denver went D but it was quite surprising the mountain regions and San Luis Valley- all D.
What was a very conservative state has now become a liberal bastion.
I understand the downfall of agriculture and livestock-this has happened nation wide- sign O the times I guess.
Maybe the rest is a sign O the times as well.
I generally don't mind the Texicans too much, kinda nice to hear a friendly drawl once in a while.
The most important thing to be learned from those who demand "Equality For All" is that all are not equal...
