When I cleared my HD and reinstalled my OS I deleted IE and installed Chrome.. actually.. I was running Norton before and I now switched to McAfee, both with firewall security.. I bought the additional McAfee Internet Security add on as well.. Hopefully this will not happen.. the only thing I can think of is that something in the java add on pizza hut made me download from their site activated the keylogger.. IDK..

It wasn't Java. It can be a website you visit, or an ad you see online, that would trigger downloading some malware.

A lot of that crap comes from ads that some sites have on them. I run adblock to block out all that crap.

It hides most ads on most webpages. You never see 'em

    Angry Birds

I just run that, the cyanide and happiness widget (comics) and my theme. Everything else just got old for me. Password bank is built in, and you can sync chrome along all your computers (theme, addons, favorites, passwords, etc.), so everytime you use another of your machines, it's the exact same.

Oh, you may want to add any forums you visit to your pop up exceptions. It screws me up when I don't see PM notifications.

sounds to me like you actually had someone on remote access.

often times someone will plant a trojan in a free game and when you install it, you also allow remote access.

how many of you read the TOS?

You can order it from inside many MMO (Massive Multi-player Online) games. Never even leave everquest and get a pizza delivered.
