Now they can charge you for serving you and then you do have to pay it, but it simply doesn't happen. They have other $hit to do than chase down a $40 ticket.

I had one of those cameras flash me in the eyes so I almost wrecked...fing stupid devices. I never got a ticket. Whats next robocops? Wish some taggers would go spray all the cameras!

If I understand what you just posted, someone else was driving your vehicle and they sent you the ticket. If that is correct, you can send in a copy of your driver's license and sign the form stating you weren't the driver at the time of the ticket and they will dismiss it.

There should be something you received that you can affirm you weren't the driver. You will need to send in a copy of your DL (for the photo) to show you weren't the driver at the time.

Don't try it, they record video and flash to highlight details such as tag #s and facial details.
If you have a CDL, pay it. Don't tempt fate or you lic.

I just don't like the idea that if you drive my car and get caught the ticket will be under my name.

It states on the ticket that if you are not the driver to photocopy your DL and send it in to them. You can tell them who was driving or not, your choice. My Dad owns my truck, didn't send in his photo, so he lost his right to contest it by mail.

I have several attorney clients and a red light camera a block away from office and all of them have said don't pay a photo ticket.

That said I woud like to see if that holds in court. I haven't got one and I don't plan on it.
