I've been very happy with my i-phone. I'm looking forward to the 5 when it comes out. That'll give me an excuse to ditch the d-bags at AT&T.

I say go with the i-phone.

before the great crash there was a survey out and the droid was winning something like 45% 38% 7% with the 7 being other phones. I personally like the droid. I cant drink the apple koolaid and them seeming to be holding back on there product for the next update. I feel that anything that the iPhone can do a droid can do it better.

plus look at all the iPhone users wanting/needing to update ASAP you get caught up in that cycle and you will be dropping 200 bucks every year or so

I love when droid followers bring out this stat, being that there are over 70 models that run the droid os and only 1 apple, with less than 5 versions, they even give some of the droid models away for free and can still only muster up a few more % of the market share over the iphone. ETA: forgot to mention that number is with 3 carriers for the iphone (one untill last year) as comared to the droid running on most if not all the carriers.

Droid. I have the original droid and the iPhone 4s is my work phone. The droid is more comfortable. handles connection to an exchange server better and doesn't feel like an ipod that graduated to smart phone.

i think that the Iphone being locked up on AT&T for all those years is what really helped the droid take such a high percentage. There are several manufactures of droid not just Apple so of course there will be more models, but at the same time droid as taken the technology that Apple created and surpassed it. Droids have better cameras, faster processors, actual 4G LTE antennas. There are 5 models of iPhone yes but after the first iPhone other phone quickly surpassed it and since then the iPhone hasnt had the best technology available. People love the iPhone and I think that is fine I however enjoy my droid and the ability to change things how I want them, not how Apple believe I should want them.

I finally got rid of my crackberry and went with an I4S. I don't think the I4S is the best phone out there, but it has some definite advantages. When I'm overseas, I can still send messages and use Facetime to see and talk to the family, not to mention I still have the music, movies, apps, and so on. I have a Mophie juicepack on mine, so I have a full second charge for the battery without having to plug it in to get it. Big deal if you spend as much time on planes as I do. It comes down to what you like and what you'll use it for, in the end. iPhone has lots of free apps too, and a lot of the ones that are not free are $.99. Doesn't hurt that my laptop is a MacBook Pro, either...
