This is an awesome story about a true, hardcore, American hero. Louis Zamperini's life is nothing short of amazing grace. I've never heard of any "operator" or warrior whose story involves more honest, documented, will to survive and providence in overcoming the horrors of war. The man is still alive today.
Just ordered that for my high schooler - required summer reading. Sounds like an amazing story.

I might have to snag it from her when she's done

In the book he is sent down due to a virus outbreak. He stops getting transmissions from his handlers and comes back up to start his job.

I'll give you a hint...The infected turn into hyper-aggressive predators, with an insatiable desire to kill...

Yup a zombie book. It's pretty darn good.

Rent it for free from Amazon if you have Prime.

I will start the second book tomorrow.
I read the first book yesterday because of this thread. I'll probably read the second book today.

Super Freakonomics interesting read. An enconimists look at things like who gives more value to their clients, pimps or real estate agents.

Injustice : exposing the racial agenda of the Obama Justice Department
    by Adams, J. Christian.

I heard him speak and the luncheon was good. Great book. Provides insight into some of the current events of the last week: illegal amnesty, fast and furious
