update the New frontier armory lower broke the hammer after 93 rounds!

How did the lower break that hammer? I don't know ar's that well or did I read it wrong?

I believe these are plastic hammers and triggers. The hard primer on surplus 5.45 requires a stiff spring and this puts extra stress on the hammer.

I am building out a CavArms lower for a 5.45 upper and plan on using a Rock River lower parts kit. I hope this will help me avert the problem here.

Oooooooohhhhh I just noticed he used a complete n.f. Lower. I was worried about mine because I want to do basically the same but my new frontier I bought is a stripped lower, I'll set it up just like my a1 carbine and use a rra lower parts kit too. Plastic FCG huh? I didn't know those were made, I guess im too used to ak's where there aren't even aluminum parts inside the receiver let alone plastic

Ya talked to new frontier and they say its cause huldra and adams arms don't us a mill spec bolt. They are mailing me a blow back hammer to replace it that is narrower and should not have this problem. They have a video on youtube where they fire off 75k rounds really fast with no problems. I will look for the video. But sounds it was from the none mill spec bolt.
