    I call BS.

I have stayed away from this whole thread, only because I think it took some wrong turns.

If I'm CCW and in the back row, I agree. If I'm CCW and within 20 ft., I'm drawing. Now granted that is going to take into account multiple considerations. Family first, can I draw, do I have a shot, I have a shot, are my wife and kids safe if I have a shot, I have have a shot, is the shot clear of innocents.....

I don't care if I'm rockin 9 or 45, if I can shoot I'm going. You seriously can't tell me that 5 rounds of 9mm into a vest ain't gonna eff some ribs up.

And as most have said, if there was more CCW and we all took action, now he's facing multiple rounds from different directions. He's screwed. Even if all it does is knock him on his ass. Now take control.

You didn't take your CCW class and get your permit to run.

Protect you, your family, and each other.

    All I'm saying here.

If it makes you feel better, NutnFancy didn't come up with it. He just rambles about it a lot.

I have basically said the same to a few members here, but also added:
"what kind of tear gas was it that this low life used ? Was some weak water home brew tear gas or some real Military/LEO CS gas ?"
I think I recall you talking about being former military, so do you recall basic ? And coming out of the CS exposure chamber ? ( or do they still do that ?) Do you think that you could have effectively fired a CCW weapon even at 20 feet then ? Whithout hitting more innocent movie goers that are scattering and panicing to all directions of the compass ?
My T.P. wheeling and dealing feedback is here.

Opinions are like assholes, everybody has one, and it stinks more than mine.

Very true... and as recent as '06 they were doing the chamber- which was hell, but I do remember, even in a closed environment with heavy saturation I felt that I was still 40% combat effective, but that was a room about the size of my dining room, this is a large auditorium. I think it would depend on where it was being dispersed from in relation to my position and several other factors. Remember, besides environmental factors like gas or lighting (the movie was still playing during all this), there is quite a bit of stress under sustained fire and you never know how you'll react until you actually experience it- which I pray none of us ever have to (especially those who have already).

Remember it? I love the sight of chili-mac on the grass

The funniest part was watching the first guy try to go through the door while at least one (sometimes two) of the drill sgts. blocking the door.

No matter how many times you would tell recruits not to wipe their face, they spent the next three minutes smearing that CS all over themselves.

I really enjoyed the chem gear familiarization module of basic training.

    Good times

    ..It's all about the #7 MRE man....the Veggy Omlet....*hurl*

CS gas is much more powerful than police riot gas, especially in the grenades.

Is there any intel on what the grenades looked like? If it was a Silver canister with a red stripe on it then it was a Military CS grenade. (ABC-M7A2)
