Again, go fight it in court. Memorize the statements I listed above. You are showing no fault and you will have a defense.
Not attacking you at all, but let's say for argument's sake I'm traveling 30MPH in a 35 zone. I'm 10ft from the intersection when the light turns yellow- average, at 30MPH it takes about 40ft to come to a complete stop- so I should slam on my brakes because "it's the law"? No. A yellow light is fair warning that if you cannot stop in time then go through the intersection before red. This "Crossing the intersection under green" crap, I've never heard of that in my entire life. Sounds pretty dumb.

Just because we're held to a higher standard doesn't mean we can't be cleared of something we didn't do, just like anyone else.
I think he was referring to ronin's post on the first page- saying they should give you leniency.

Being LEO doesn't make it go away. When I worked in Boulder County, we were expected to pay any photo enforcement tickets while working, if we couldn't justify our actions at that time. In Lakewood, we all slow down for Denver's photo radar vans on our border, as I'm sure the same applies. Trust me. NOBODY really likes photo enforcement tickets, well maybe someone in the city finance department...

...and if you're not referring to my comments, then please disregard. However, it's a bit vague if you don't use the "quote" brackets when replying to a specific comment.

Thanks man, I also have a new 12GA and a revolver coming this week, so hopefully you're feeling better to join in on the fun by next weekend!

Hence why I had the coffee sipping smiley... I think photo enforcement is BS, but then again the law that says I can't have a suppressor without jumping through hoops is BS too (NFA), but what can you do?

Yeah man, it's cool. I didn't think an explanation in reply to your original comment was even needed until someone else took it as their battle cry.

They will say that according to the photo you didn't clear the intersection under a green light.
You need to state that after you observed the green light you were busy observing traffic and the intersection while driving to make sure it was safe to clear the intersection of traffic, not staring at the light.
Thanks man. Will definitely keep that in mind. The reason I actually went through was there was a semi truck directly in front of me and I couldn't see the light until I was almost to the crosswalk. Not sure if that hurts or helps my case.

I need to scan a copy of a red light ticket my buddy got on Halloween. He was driving his girlfriend's car in a full Kermit the Frog suit. The light was turning yellow and he figured if they can't see your face, they can't ticket you - so he just tilted his head down.

All you can see in the windshield is this giant Kermit the Frog face smiling at the camera. It's one of the funniest things i've seen in a while.

    Default Red light Ticket

Agreed. If you are innocent you should fight to the death. I was replying to the folks that think LEO can never get a ticket.
