Just drive southwest from your location until you run out of gas. you will end up tied up in a shed with a rubber ball in your mouth.

    Related to this:

I just bought a car with a blown engine from a friend. It'll take a few (3-4) months to work the OT to get 'er running.

Is it possible to record the title transfer without registering the car, since I obviously can't register it? Surely people buy junker cars all the time, but when I go to the DMV website, it only talks about purchase/registration as one transaction.

Yep, you will get a new title and receipt but no registration or tags (obviously).

    Cool, thank you!

When I bought my current daily driver last summer, it took SIX TRIPS to the DMV - two were my fault, but the other four were all things that I have never had a problem with before that each successive clerk just "happened" to notice. So I will feel better having an answer before I go waste an hour or two there only to be told "no".

Have to register one in colorado for my job, but the other 4 in wyoming. Have a great day.
The problem is that it did not used to be like this until relatively recently.

My plates on my diesel have made me appreciate my motorcycle even more. Plates were only $60, and my insurance for a year is only $76...
