I have had nothing but great experiences at Jensens. Staff there is always courteous and helpful to me. Can't count the number of times while browsing around the store their people come up to me and ask if I needed any help. Sometime I did, sometimes I didn't.

When I was looking for a specific model of Buckmark (Hunter), Jensens didn't have it in stock. Bob took me in his supply room to show me the selection he had - pretty much every model except the Hunter! Unfortunately, they couldn't find that model anywhere. In return for buying thru Gunbroker and using Jensens for FFL, I got a nice in-store discount that I used for magazines and supplies - more than fair. I'll be buying there again.

I'm fully aware of Jensen"s piss poor atittude and service but I always end up giving them another chance. Its about a 50/50 shot with me. Sometimes they're tolerable and sometimes they're not...


Well, went to look at some optics today cause I'm gonna be buying one real soon. Was looking at a little trijicon red dot and asked the young kid there if he's had any experience with them.

Reply was, " I've got bigger fish to fry than this little thing" in a real elitist attitude I might add.

I have been to Jensens a few times and I have only bought one thing from them. The few times I went in to just browse everyone seemed polite except for a few people. One or two people asked me while I was browsing if I needed any help and if I did to just holler.

The only thing I bought from them was a stripped lower. While the BG was going they were more than happy to let me check out the stuff behind the counter. That was just my experience YMMV.

FWIW:
Stopped in and had a talk with Mike Rigg regarding some of the less than stellar service i (personally) had received in the past.
We had a nice talk and feel a new leaf is being turned over at Jensens.
Mike asked me and to also pass along, since this site has a lot of members this. If you feel you did not receive good CS and or have an issue PLEASE talk to him. Without Mike being made aware of the situation nothing can be done to resolve any issues then and or the future.

I have to agree that Jensen's seems to be turning over a new leaf in regard to customer service. I took a friend up there recently to check out a Saiga 12 and all the AR parts/accessories they have in stock, and I actually warned him that the people who work there aren't very friendly and not to take it personally. To my surprise, however, the young man behind the counter was very friendly/helpful, and we ended up shooting the shit with him for quite awhile. When all was said and done I ended up dropping a few hundred dollars I'd planned on spending elsewhere.

It took long enough. My experiences have been mixed over the years. Talked to Mike about it and a month or so ago was informed of the "change" coming up. 3 weeks ago called and talked to brendan? who not only told me 1 was on the shelf but put me on hold for a sec. He then came back, informed me they had 2 more in the back AND what the price was! Something i had to pry out of past employees.
