I do see your point that some types of ammunition possess better ballistic qualities than others. I do indeed carry Gold Dots in my CCW as opposed to the RNFP I punch paper with, for that very reason. Point conceded. I think the greater point of contention, and the reason some of us here take issue with the specific language used in the article is that it was completely unnecessary and obviously intended to demonstrate bias. Judging by the overall biased tone of the entire article, this particular phrasing would have been present regardless of the type of ammo used; they wouldn't bother to research it anyway.
FMJ's are because of war laws that only we follow, same with triangular bayonets.
