    Unhappy

The sad things is: it is a sad day when there isn't a decent candiate among EITHER of the two parties. Alot of lefties I know were rooting for Edwards...

Here nor there, Romney is out, and unless Huckabee pulls a miracle out of his preaching arse, we will have a Democrat in the office, even if McCain does get elected.

I think someone else said my piece: "we are all screwed".
"The best argument against democracy is a five-minute conversation with the average voter." Sir Winston Churchill

Well, kind of thinking out loud here, If, Obama or the wicked witch of all points of the compass get elected, We'll think of the Carter era as "The good old days" Double digit inflation, intrest rates, gas lines. anybody remember that? Things were so bad, that My Dad, a lifelong democrat, and in some retrospect, a borderline socialist, was complaining about Him
Heck, Dad found out That I voted for Reagan, He didn't talk to Me for five months.

I can respect the opinons about McCain, I'm not really to enthushed about Him Myself, But, before You throw You're vote away on a third party or even clinton/obama Think about it. In the mean time, like Dave said concentrate on the Senate and House races, Make sure the commie from boulder doesn't get in, and, in two Years make sure that Salazar is out. That, unfortunatly is going to be the best We can do, for the time being.

I'll never vote for a dem.

just vote your conscience, if more people did just this instead of "party lines" we might still have a country.. but then again, people are easily dupped!

A moderate is just the slower way to the death of our country.

Voting for "electebals" is just BS, it just helps the two dominating parties continue to rule. Just vote for the candidate you like and it's all good. If someone else wins what can ya do?

For me a the choice between a communist and a socialist is no choice at all.

No it's not. Because while you are voting for some libertarian with views you agree with, the dems win. And when they win they chip away at the gun laws. Start their socialistic health care programs.

Nader did a great job of helping get Bush elected, because he took away many dems votes. If it weren't for Nader Bush likely would have lost. Just like Perot took away a lot of votes for Daddy Bush. There is a reason why smart conservatives like Mike Rosen say party trumps all. Because if you don't support the party that is closest to your views the other sides views become the law.

By the way, my opinion is Obama beats McCain, but McCain beats the Clintons. Sucks that people like Tancredo have no real shot, and we get boobs as our candidates.

I personally will never support a party that does not support my views. And looking at mccains track record goes to show that he is no different than the other two demmocrats..

I'd much rather have a fast decline and a fast recovery than a slow one any day.

Look at the issues. He is different then the other 2 liberals. It's your vote. Vote how you want. Just realize that votes for someone other then McCain are wasted and only help get Clinton or Obama elected. And for sure both of them will push for an "assault" weapon ban. Where as McCain states he won't.
McCain is against Kyoto, an assault weapons ban, minimum wage increase, and universal healthcare. Clinton and Obama support all 4. There's a big difference if you just educate yourself.

Ron Paul and Huckabee are closest to what I'd like to see in a president, and unless Huckabee really starts to kick some ass, he's not going to get the nomination. And Paul has no chance.

I won't vote for McCain. If that means that a pile of pure evil from Chicago becomes President, so be it. At least then, Congressional Republicans will actually act like Republicans instead of rolling over for all that was stupid and wrong in the last five years and all that's stupid and wrong about McCain just because he has an "R" after his name.

They gave us McCain-Feingold, No Child Left Behind, and Medicare Part D, just to make the RINO-in-Chief look good for his 2004 re-election campaign. I don't think that they'll do Hillary or Obama the same favors. So I'm all about the Gridlock in 2008 vote.

Anybody who sits election day out entirely, though...that's crap. Bob Schaffer needs the votes and will do right by gun owners, and we need to force that Perlmutter ass into early retirement. (Although, I live in the 2nd District and with Udall running for Senate do we even have candidates???)

I don't know about Hannity, but Rush never said he would vote for Hillary. The MSM has distorted his statements. That's a shocker.

Obama, Hillary, and McCain are all getting money from George Soros. That's messed up.

McCain may have been against Kyoto, but he was a sponsor of McCain-Leiberman which will be devestating to our economy in the name of environmentalism.

I'll probably still vote for McCain, even though he won't win. Then I'll probably change my voter registration from 'R' to 'I'. The party has left me. I had to actually look to see who was leading the RNC, and then didn't recognize the Chair or Co-chair. The national RNC leadership is asleep at the switch.

It also appears that we're reaching the tipping point, where more voters are getting something from the government than are paying in. Then we have mob rule. The only thing that I can see that will really make a change is another revolution. Keep your powder dry.
Liberals never met a slippery slope they didn't grease.

agreed.... nothing will change until americans change it.

A two party system is a bad system, and that is at the core of all our problems. Anyone who votes D or R is voting against America... (Properly spelled with a capitol A - 7idl)

Also concerning mccain, he may say a few things that sound good in a conservatives eyes, but in all honesty how does his track record back that up? To my knowledge he is just BS'ing and lieng, he'll never do half the conservative things he touts.
