What's with the attitude from gun stores?

im not whining (well maybe a little )
since the shooting at the theater people have gone plum crazy . people used to come up to my tables to ask about history or bring in grandpas stuff to ask question but now its the same crap over and over . do you have any ar this or that , obama did this or that , etc. the part of the job i really enjoyed is almost nonexistent . so after a few hours of people bitching about my lack of tactical items and bugging me for items i have never carried. i get worn out , the nerves are short and some answers are short tempered . the worst part is that its not new random people its the same ones i see every time asking stupid questions . everybody thinks that their point of view or question is so friking important and they all feel the need to ask or express at my table . i try like hell to keep the happy face on (seeing as its my only job) but it gets hard sometimes

I can understand this in the context of the times. For the record my comment was about bad attitudes that persist through the "normal" times.

All I can say is there are the gun shops out there doing it right and there are the ones that eventually inventory can't over come shit attitudes time after time.

I avoid "local gunshops" like the plague; too much attitude, not enough knowledge and too high prices.

Buy online and just use the shops for the transfer.

The only point I see is that you haven't been to all the local gun shops. Some are asses. Some are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Two posts up would be the later, when he was open.

Just like any business, there are good and bad.

Also- remember there are good days and bad days. A bad experience 3 years ago should not deter someone from revisiting an lgs. The staff has probably had a total turnover anywhere you go.

I avoid "local gunshops" like the plague; i had a bad experience at a gun store once so as a result i will not let myself enjoy any other gun store , now i just stay at home and sheepishly ooze into a store for the smallest transaction i can make .
