So, besides talk a bunch of shit, make a bunch of worthless threads, make enemies of everyone on this forum, what action have you actually taken?

or are you just talk too?

Classic. The exact response I would expect from your ilk. And because the subject matter of what I posted exceeds your pay grade, doesn't make it worthless. As for the use of the word "everyone". Classic Saul Alinsky. Go stand in your subjugation line.

I can partly agree with Melvin- although the action should be to gather people to show these stains on the mattress that their proposed legislation will not stand (I'm talking peaceful here, don't need 200 Dorners running around).

My real question is will our boycotting actually work? Look at 64, after its passing we can expect all the little stoners to flock to CO for their green fix.. I fear that will offset whatever action we do.

Now if y'all think there is some country out there who is going to come dashing in to throw off the yoke of oppression being applied to us you are on the wrong planet. • Back in 2002 I left Kansas. One of the myriad of reasons I moved from Kansas to Colorado was because at the time Kathleen Sibelius was the governor. Since we've moved the backlash against the left there has been fierce and now they have one of the most conservative governors the state has ever seen (former Senator Sam Brownback). So Kansas is now very much to the right of Colorado (more than just geographically). When I moved here there was a Republican governor and concealed carry in CO, neither of which were in Kansas. So things can change and change rather rapidly (unfortunately Kansas can't grow mountains overnight so they won't win me back).
    • If all the decent conservative folk "take their ball and go to a new home" then Colorado is just going to get worse. California does enough damage to the culture in America we don't need a second one. Maybe the time will come for decent conservative folk to leave, but I'm not convinced that now is the time.
    • Aside from the changes in politics over the past few years, I really really like living here (of course the more leftward the state moves, the less I'll like it and probably the less I'll be able to afford it).
    • At the moment, I couldn't afford to move if my hair was on fire.

I certainly understand the desire to leave (and honestly there are days I wake up with this intense feeling that I need to pack my shit and go) but I think there is still a chance to take the state back. That said, if it doesn't happen in the next election cycle or two then I'll concede its time to go as well.
    Things I love about Colorado:
    1) Mountains and the outdoors
    2) Was born and raised here
    3) Shooting and hunting

    Things I hate:
    1) Political happenings
    2) Population density
    3) New anti gun stance
    4) Land shooting closures all summer due to "fire hazard"
    4) No fireworks ever
    5) Living in Boulder County
    6) Rising cost of living while income is staying flat
    7) Tax increases
    8) Voted in Obuttface (Nobody I have voted for since I got out of the military has won a single election, literally zero)
    9) Emissions testing facilities
    10) Hippies and libtards
    11) Pot legalization

I could keep going but I am getting mad. I was born and raised here so I have watched the decay as it happened. This state is now California in the 80's and there is no stopping it. They are called progressives for a reason. If you could tell me one way to stop this swing towards complete retardation I would consider staying. I have sent email after email to get canned responses that are diametrically opposed to my views and concerns, I have showed support to rallies, NRA, RMGO and local business that supports my beliefs and where has that gotten us? It has not even slowed down. I am tired of feeling like everyone that represents me is a boner biting leftist ass hat that is completely incapable of rational thought and without a shred of moral or ethical standards. There are other states with mountains hunting and lower taxes.

The only non violent action is to take a page out of the playbook of the stoners and combine it with a page from TABOR. Use the same tactics through the referendum process and amend the CO constitution to ban all gun related legislation and overturn anything that has been created in the last 40 years. And place in it a clause that any legislator that mentions gun control be imprisoned indefinitely using the homeland security act.

Make damn sure you vote for Hillary next go around.

I'm not leaving this state. I just moved here and I'll be real pissed if you all cut and run, we need to fight this(respectfully and peacefully) but we can come out stronger after this. This state has too much to offer in the way of jobs, outdoor activities, and beauty for me to want to leave. We just need to do everything in our power to make it a 2nd amendment friendly state.

Good job avoiding the question. And I guess your reading of history didn't enable you to comprehend the truly deep and painful suffering that another civil war will cause. It's not something to be taken up lightly. I have to move for work reasons, the current legislation just ensures I won't come back. And yes, I'm doing my best to end up in a freer state than Colorado is becoming. If you want to stay here, "behind enemy lines" so to speak, that's your choice. I'll be working to save liberty where it still exists.

This is what I'm wondering, though, HOW!? If it becomes state law and we effectively will be no longer able to purchase "hi-cap" magazines, or F2F sales w/o 4473, then what can we do then? What are our options at that point other than the obvious GTFO of here?
