TBAC 30CB7 currently on a .223 upper and the AAC Pilot 2 .22lr on the Mosquito. Trying out the TBAC this weekend. Shot the Pilot in the back yard and it sounds like a brad nailer.

30 cal muzzle brake that was included will go on the LR308 and I need to get a couple more muzzle brakes for the 300BLK and 6.8.

No, they will not give me a chance to fix it since I used an E-form. My only option is to wait around for my refund. I suppose I could submit another form, give them another $200 and wait another 3.5 months but I think I am kind of done for now...

You can fix it and re-submit now. You need to email them first but people do it all the time. I'll try and find the email. It's ted something at ATF. They will turn it right around for you. Don't give up

As far as the Multi thing. Just don't put multi in the description and when you engrave your trust just add Cal. 5.56 (or what ever cal you are using) I've done it many times on lowers marked from the factory as multi. They ATF doesn't like that word so don't put it anywhere on the forum.

I paper mailed my F1 that had an issue and needed to be resubmitted. If you include the "denial" e-mail and any other paperwork you've received. Mail it all off along with a corrected F1. AND another check for $200.. They will put you up front. make sure you have copies for your records. Providing the Ask the experts doesn't say resubmit and we'll handle it.

ALSO: You're not lying. They require a Caliber in that box. Pick one and run with it.

That's how I felt about mine. Ive asked my FFL to look into what's going on. I'm very concerned as I tried calling and the ATF had no record of it, yet the check was cashed.

Usually by being patient, the NFA game isn't for those who need it yesterday. The average time according to ATF till your ffl receives paperwork is 30 days. At least that's the time frame they allow them self to get it in the mail. Since a form 4 is through the dealer i suggest you have them deal with it. You paid for a service from them, utilize it.

I just got my first stamp today! The item was a suppressor purchased from Dakota Silencer then Form 3'ed to a local dealer. The Form 3 process took from about 3 months before the local dealer had it. I dicked around with getting the Form 4 started and it took about 6 months from the time I mailed the Form 4 until the stamp was received. In a twist of irony, I started a Form 1 for an SBR just this past Tuesday.

I'm a little hacked, though, because I had picked an FFL that was 10 mins from my house off the Silencershop website . . . and they ended up moving from C-470 & Santa Fe to freakin' Elizabeth. If I would have known that, I would have picked a different dealer. Probably a bigger crapstorm to try to change it now, so whenever it comes in I'll be driving an hour to pick it up.

Did you do a trust or individual? Individual are the only ones getting quick approval. Trusts are still around 130+ days. They are approving Form 4 trust that were sent in late April early May now.

When I e-filed a Form 1 SBR I missed filling in the 4i - State why... box. I received a Disapproved notice so I did the Ask the Experts thing. They e-mailed me to e-file Submit a completely new tax paid Form 1. After e-filing the Form 1 and getting a control number I should reply to their e-mail with the disapproved control number and the new e-file control number telling them it was a Correction.

Trust sent through "The big shops" / Form 4's usually get sent out when they have X amount. 1 shop did their F4's every other week. Unless they had 10 by end of the week.

I've only spoken to Oakland Tactical which is who I purchased it from, they said it was submitted March 25th, same day I paid for it. Yeah. Been too busy at work to be able to get away for the fingerprints and photo. Then I waited too long, and had to fill out new forms. Also, the seller had to sign the forms again. Oh well, so the wait begins.
