Round count roughly the same? Everything in the OP (fees) still the same this year?

Al was kind at the last match and lowered the round count for rifle and pistol given the ammo shortages. I'm assuming that will be the case again. It's still $15.

Thanks I always bring more than I need but I'll bring a bit more birdshot in case he goes with more SG.

Hey guys, some bad news about this weekend..... We are going to have to cancel. All three of the guys that can run the match(me, al and randy) have previous commitments this weekend. I thought I was going to make it but my boss informed me today that I have other plans

    Sorry.

We will get back after it next month.

Just wondering if this match is happening this weekend? I really want to shoot it. I've got only a little bit of IDPA experience but no 3-gun. I've read about it and seen it onTV. What do I need to do to participate? Can I shoot it but not compete just for fun and experience? I don't have a shotgun and wanted to see what I need before I go out and buy one. I've got the other stuff required. I live in Divide so it is just too close to not come out. Thanks.

Assuming the match is on (I've not yet heard and Cary has been ubber busy lately), you can come and shoot 2 guns for no score. This is a bring what you got type of match though, so some guys show up with their old 870 wingmaster, or some other hunting type shotgun and shoot it anyways. You only need to show up and pay the entry to participate. You will need a range holster for your pistol and a way to carry 15 or so shells (including what's in the magazine). You need to be able to carry a spare rifle mag and a couple of spare pistol mags. I've seen guys with mags sticking out of pockets and shotshells piled in a gas mask bag, shooting an old model 12 and an M1 Garand. Didn't win anything, but he had fun and instant respect, just for showing up with a 30-06. This is probably the very best match for a beginner. No targets are past 80yds, they never run slings and the stages are all close, fast and fun.

Bring a couple boxes of shells and a shotgun just might find its way into your hands. Perhaps a way to carry those shells will also materialize. I've got a good feeling about this.

If you participate the clock will be running and you'll be scored but who cares? You'll have a good time anyway.

I just really hope the match is on this month...

Thanks for the info. I hope it is happening. I've been looking forward to this for sometime now. Looks like a blast and I'm looking forward to meeting some people who like to shoot. Maybe ill pick up some 12 gauge target stuff just incase.
