    Default Columbine

Today is the anniversary of the columbine tragedy and the media will cover the story all day. I wish they would put as much effort in helping us remember the 9-11 tragedy.

Funny I said the exact same thing last night when we were watching the news. Funny no one forgets Columbine, but 9-11 we sure forget.

You know, it was tragic, it is in the past, the media is the ones making the 2 fuk'n idiot morons a "legend".
Get over it move on let the families remeber.
My dad in FL said they heard about it again. And why does the rest of the world need to be reminded?
The kids at the school now were in 2 Grade when it happened for Christ's sake.
Even one of the girls they interviewed said she would like it to be more private as she has moved on.

Media "why do we have copy cat shootings"

cause your dumb asses keep hyping/senstaionalizing this type of crime.

media " lets talk to the janitor that was at ths school at the time"

What a bunch of shit we have for news nowdays.

I do tend to agree with that statement..

I do have a slightly differant prespective on it,,, Up to the last couple of months, My sister lived across Pierce from Columbine..All four of My nephews Graduated from there,, though long before..And, I have a friend that has lived on the south side of Clement park, since 1998..

I hope I never head about Columbine again. NPR has been running Columbine stories all last week. Columbine is nothing but a tool for ratings and attention. No one actually gives a shit, they just say the stupid, "Never forget" so they can feel good amongst their equally stupid peers.

No one learned anything from Columbine, schools are still under law to be Clinton's Gun Free Victim Zones.

Back before are shall issue CCW law my permit was valid in a public school. I carried in the very grade school I started 1st grade to vote.......................The funny part was I never got this overwhelming urge to shoot the place up. I went to cast my vote nothing more, the only thing that changed was now I have to leave my gun in my car. I can only assume this is because they want more victims. More victims means they can scream louder for more gun control.

Jackass libs might as well put a neon sign on every school proclaiming we can out do columbine!!

To continue to harp on the whole 9-11 thing would be an insult to the Islamic faith.

I will remember the victims and ignore the politics and people using this tragedy for their own ends. I think the victims would have wanted it that way.

My wife knew one of the girls who died and her grandmother. She still wears a button pin on one jacket in the winter. but that is to remember her when she was happy not the event. I too with the press would let it go. We don't need any more copy cats.
