Well, I've hit a wall. For some reason when I weighed myself yesterday morning I was the exact same weight. The day before I mowed for a couple of hours and that was about the only change from what I've been doing. I figured it was some sort of random anomaly and that things would get back on track today well.... no. I actually gained 0.2lbs. I'm not sure how this is even possible but I'm going to look into it now. One day it was pretty easy to shrug off and say.. oh well, no big deal. But two days in a row with a gain and it's a little bit more difficult to shrug off. Not getting to eat food sucked enough when there was results to show for it, and good ones. It's more difficult when nothing is happening (let alone trending the wrong way) to justify doing this. People were telling me good job and I felt guilty since I really wasn't doing anything worthy of praise other than doing something about it since I'm not really doing anything. The flip side to that coin is that when something like this happens there's nothing I can do about it. When you're working out you just work out harder. I can't drink more juice. I'm continuing with the diet but am going to look into if this is common but so far from the videos I watched before I started. I guess if I have a 3rd day of no weight loss I will have a serious decision to make. I hate that I'm even considering this at this point as I was fully ready to go 60 days but if the weight loss stops it's kind of pointless.

So people plateau and nobody has a solid answer as to why. Some say it's not enough water and some say it's too much. That guy saying it's too much is being purposefully vague when he says that too much water can be dangerous because this is true but it takes a LOT of water to get to the dangers he's talking about. Suffice it to say I'm not drinking too much water and I seriously doubt I'm not drinking enough. So what now? I guess I could try switching to juicing vegetables and less of the fruit juices to see what happens but I just don't know. I see some are talking about the ratio of fruit juices to vegetable juices and mine is out of whack compared to that certainly. I guess I could try that and see what happens. Part of me is leaning towards just stopping the diet and starting to mix in a healthier lifestyle in the form of eating and working out (when possible) and see if I can maintain the same amount of weight loss while eating food again. Maybe I'm just disgruntled given the recent results or lack thereof.

I would try changing things up. I read on that you may want to juice fruit and veggies separate and ait at least 1/2 hour between drinking each. Have you tried walking also? Now may be a good time to incorporate some exercise. Don't give up.

Like I said, 2hrs of exercise Saturday morning appeared to be the catalyst of these new issues.

I definitely get where you're coming from Jer. If I'm not seeing results then I'm going to give in to my desire for a salad and a chicken breast. I don't even want junk food, just something solid.

I'd try cutting down on the fruit juice to see how that goes.

JMO, but I'd say don't stress about it, and just keep on keepin' on. Your body's probably just dragging its heels a little and saying "whoa, what's going on? My lovely fat stores are shrinking!" It'll come back around, I'm sure. Just trudge on and you'll probably wake up one day on the other side of that wall.

Kinda like investing in a stock, I reckon. The price of any given stock or other market-traded financial instrument never goes in a straight line up or down, it always moves back and forth between up and down. The long-term trend may be either up or down, bullish or bearish, but the daily moves will bounce back and forth. Your weight loss trend is definitely downward/bearish, you're just having a little bullish pullback. The bearish trend will return and continue.

What Ron said. It's not a big deal at this point. It's not enough time to declare a plateau, and certainly isn't "trending."
If you quit now, you'll never know what the results of 60 days would have been. As long as you keep your calories low, you body will HAVE to use something for energy. There is no such thing as not eating, but staying fat. You're not some magic anamoly. So suck it up and keep going.

I'm going to change the route of attack slightly and carry on. I just made some mostly veggie juices with the juicer and will take 24hrs off from the Bolthouse Farms juices. Not sure if the deal is too much sugar but I'm certainly getting tired of too much sweet so it will be a welcomed relief. I think I was just venting this morning and thought about not posting but wanted to do so for those who might be following this to see it's not all roses. I figured one of two things would happen: 1) I would find out that this diet wasn't the answer and wasn't working for me and I wanted others to know that it didn't work for everyone if I decided to end the fast after a few days of no progress or 2) I wanted others to see that you can run into walls and you should expect to get through them if I decided to stick with it. No matter what happens at this point it's been documented for others to see. I'll do fresh juice from veggies today and see what the scale says tomorrow morning.

I hear ya man. The physical hunger pains subsided a long time ago but the mental hunger pains make me want to eat a juicy steak right now. (I swear I've seen more steaks on TV, commercials, movies this last week then the entire year leading to this point) But, I'm not going to give in that easily.
