I bought a 2000 excursion from schomp bmw, which included a 30 day warranty. Got it home and there was an occasional thump in the front end which is either ball joints or sway bar end links. Took in in for service and they replacedthe ball joints free of charge. No hassle. I hate dealerships too, and this is the only place that will get my business. They sell a lot of nice used cars in addition to bmw.
