Always done the trailer option. Only owned 4x vehicles, of various sizes, in CO.

Lived in OH for a while. Drove 40k a year for work. A truck wasn't an option.

An AWD minivan would be tits. I'm sure someone makes one. You did say 4wd though.

Toyota Sienna has an AWD option. My buddies wife drives one and it is our skiing mobile. Put some Blizzakks on it and it grips great. Plus has big screen TV that is pretty sweet for road trips. We have a Yukon and an Ecoboost F150. We still take my buddies minivan.
