What is this punishment you speak of? Did the mods come to your home and bend you over their knee? Were you fined by the mods and forced to pay restitution for your actions on the forum?

If you decide to turn a thread about a shooting at a public range into your vision of government conspiracies, expect to be warned. If you continue past the warning and make this a "Woe is me, people are picking on me." after you've been warned, then enjoy your brief hiatus from the community. If after that brief respite you come back and continue on the "Woe is me, and warn others that you are the lone voice of truth in the wilderness." All I can say is that you should not be surprised when your next break lasts a bit longer.
