I'm guessing I-25 will be a parking lot from Fort Collins all the way to Sheridan (WY.) Not my idea of fun.

Roads have already been closed in parts of OR due to traffic congestion.

Can't wait for all the whiny snowflake comments about how they couldn't get to their destination...because of everyone else clogging up the roadways.

Yup- Wanting to drive-up to Casper and leaving from Denver at 7:00 am Monday morning (after, OF COURSE, picking-up a fre- trade cruelty-free, vegan coffee)...

Our friend lives in Guernsey, so my son and I will begin the trek to camp in his yard pretty soon, but NLT early Sunday morning, depending on traffic status. I have a feeling back roads will be a necessity.

There may be a lot of upset people when they keep running in to this sign

Chugwater or Casper isn't set up to handle 100 or even 500 vehicles wanting to fill up the same day. Be interesting to see how many PRE-PAY ONLY pumps crash from the CC volume

Be a good indicator of how many people don't prepare before a road trip, waiting till something happens to worry.

Or it could be a bust, with the cautious staying close to home.

Sounds like the trip to and from WY will be a good dry run for what TEOTWAWKI would be like if living in the metro area.

Best of luck to all participants. May the wind always be at your back and the sun on your face... oh wait...

Post pics, I didn't buy the glasses.

Well, the dire predictions for traffic beginning Friday night were just a bit exaggerated. We'll see what happens tomorrow during the day...

Tomorrow's traffic reports will be what makes me decide between going Sunday afternoon or Monday morning.
