Where have you been? They are already using weapons, just because it hasn't been a firearm (yet), they've already displayed their intent, do you think just because they are now buying firearms, that they will have some sort of an epiphany making them responsible gun owning citizens? Please!

It seems you may be over-simplifying the issue. Some have displayed their intent, but intent =/= action. It’s simply a precursor to a potential scenario that may or may not happen. You are correct in that they have used weapons. However, you and I both know the sticks, glass bottles, and spray cans they have used up to now are not nearly as effective as firearms. If they start to use firearms, I believe they will/should be met with extreme force. Unlike any they have experienced.

As retarded as it is, I do believe some of them are legitimately buying for their protection because they fear the current administration. It’s genuinely difficult to tell who is buying weapons for defense and who is buying for offense.

I also believe that increased responsibility CAN drive individuals to become more responsible people. Not in all cases, of course. I’m simply hoping for the best among a multitude of potential scenarios.

For the most part they're not buying weapons for either. Most of these Antifa fools are simply "LARPing as revolutionaries". Buying a gun for them is the same as a fat guy buying a treadmill ... its a gesture that will substitute for real action. Just like the fat guy's treadmill will end up a place to hang laundry, their gun will sit in the back of a closet and gather dust.

But they'll be able to talk big ; ie "Yeah, man, when that orange NAZI bastard got elected I bought an AK..." *hits bong* ..."and joined the resistance".

These people are talkers, not doers.
