The problem I see with muslims and being "at war with islam" is that they do not subscribe to the same ideals of warfare.
They targeted a clearly civilian target with no regard to the women and children etc.
We try our best (not always successful) to eliminate any civilian casualties and fight them as though they are a military power. This will be our undoing. We need to learn to fight the enemy as the enemy wants to fight us. Ii am not advocating killing civilians, but trying to tippy toe around everyhere has made us weaker and less effective in everything we have done militarily since Vietnam. Our forefathers would be spinning in their graves if they saw how we run a military operation these days.
The only thing they respect is power and we need to finally show them that we mean business.
Do I have a problem with being politically correct? You are damn right I do, political correctness will be the death of this country, no civilization has ever survived without a common language, goals and for the most part religion, Yes i understand that we are supposed to tolerate all religions, but that doesn't mean that a toxic religion such as islam should be tolerated.
They have no interest in being islamic us citizens. They will not tolerate your religion. When their numbers are strong enough they will snuff you and your kids and your country out.
If you don't think allowing "differing religions and different culture permeate our country is dangerous you are sadly mistaken. Two examples are Phoenix, AZ, more mosques per square mile than any other city in the nation and a severe illegal alien problem. Now they are the kidnapping capital of the nation if not the world, the mexican drug cartels are rampant.
Paris, France, a boat load of muslims, last count was 5 million I believe. Their lifestyle and their country are already dead they just don't know it yet. They print one cartoon and the city burned for three weeks cause they pissed off the muslims.
If you think something like that couldn't happen in Phoenix you are again sadly mistaken. It is about time we get our heads out of the sand and stop trying to make everyone feel good.
We have politically corrected ourselves into the biggest recession in history, 10 million americans out of work and we have 20 million illegals working and not paying taxes and taking free everything. How f...ed up is that. We don't know how to get Americans back to work??? Get rid of illegal labor and a boat load of Americans will go back to work.
I have to pay thousands of dollars out of my pocket to get my kids the school supplies and health care they need, but if was a mexican, whoa buddy here it is for free,
take your political correctness and shove it where the sun don't shine, my ancestors are buried all over the south fighting for human rights and equality for those who deserved it, that doesn't mean that we have to wet nurse the entire worlds population inside our borders. And they damn sure didn't die so that we turn into a bunch of wusses and let the world run all over us.
If you are not willing to stand up for your flag and stand up for what is good and honest and right then you are part of the problem.
sorry for one of my first posts to be such a rant, but man this thread pushed a lot of my buttons.
on a side note: Oklahoma passed a similar bill to the AZ immigration law in 2007, my father happened to be in the state at the time the bill went into law. The flood of illegals leaving was incredible. Fast forward to January 2010 and OK has one of the lowest unemployment rates in the nation, nearly 1/2 the unemployment of states like CA who just can't believe they would do something like that. http://www.ok.gov/oesc_web/documents/lmiusuejan10.pdf
