I know I will get flamed for this, but he was probably a good candidate for a red flag if the family was truly concerned and would have acted. Of course, monday morning quarterbacking is easy in a case like this, and doesn't mean I support broad spectrum red flags.
I don't know, I am just tired of getting blamed for the actions of a 100 deranged lunatics spread over 25 years.

Well, the family clearly stated he had mental issues. The sister in law also clearly stated she saw him playing with what looked like a machine gun. Um. Yea. Somebody should have acted or said something to authorities.
Just an fyi that when the suspect was taken from the hospital to the jail the officers used Eric Talley’s handcuffs on him.
