Guess I was thinking about Harlingen where they used to be. They must have a great museum!

At some point I'll have to go back to visit the museum. I imagine everything of note was outside, as there were dozens of aircraft on the tarmac, and many vehicles, including Jeeps, Halftracks, tanks and a couple live artillery pieces they started the show off with.

Not sure how well this turned out. At the Las Vegas vegas speedway bull ring. F22s, F16s & A10s practicing fly overs of thee big track.

Nellis AFB I believe just east of the tracks. Thought I saw the Thunderbirds practicing when I drove past on I15.

Went to the Vegas Speedway a few years ago for the Red Bull Air Race finals which were cancelled because of high winds (Big yellow inflatable pylons kept collapsing).

Great time either way, first time there. Big facility and like you said, Nellis AFB is right over 'there'. Fun place with lots of stuff to do but Vegas is pretty much Butt Ugly in the daytime.
