    I don't know.

What I do know is my company says they're following the mandate of the federal government and, as such, all employees regardless if you work at a customer site, at a corporate site or work from home MUST be "fully vaccinated" by December 8th or face termination.

I'm in a bad spot right now as I received treatment Monday with specific instructions from a military treatment facility to "wait at least 90 days before you get a COVID-19 vaccine" (failure to wait the 90 days could present serious health risk). This means the first date I can get the first vaccine dose is January 11th. Under Moderna vaccination guidelines, I can't get the next does for another 5 weeks. This means I won't be "fully vaccinated" until March 1st. I'm trying to seek a medical "accommodation" through March 1st but everyone (my company and my customer) are all pointing to the other party, leaving me in no man's land. Unless someone pulls their head out of their butt I will be unemployed after December 8th - even though I've relented and will comply (I have to be able to put bread on the table).

There was the EO from the white house. AFAIK it set a firm November 22 deadline and purported to use OSHA as the arm. I have not seen any OSHA regulations yet, but also have not checked.

Fill out and submit a medical exemption form pronto. At least it gives something to argue about.
AFAIK the deadline to submit a medical exemption in your case could be as soon as October 25th. Just based off my gov dealings... So try to get something in before then, despite the illness

OSHA hasn't issued any regs yet. So as far as OSHA is concerned, there isn't a mandate yet that affects private businesses. My company is subject to OSHA (our mother ship covers 700 physical locations in the US). They are waiting to see what OSHA regs say and will comply, but won't do anything before it's made official by the feds.

But I don't know what fed mandate there is for fed contractors. I've heard there really isn't one. Nothing on paper.

Ginsue - I hope they accept your temporary medical deferral. There would be no reason to reject it, but so far it seems everything is happening without reason.

This is all I am aware of for OSHA at this point:

    https://www.osha.gov/coronavirus/ets

I havent read through it closely yet, but a perusal shows no jab mandate. It is just a requirement for a written safety plan to encompass the vaxxed and non-vaxxed. This is a continuation of the ETS from earlier this year, so it could change, but I suspect whatever comes will be similar to this.

Sounds like Billy just got hospitalized for a "non covid-19 infection". That's a lot of words for "the clap".

I heard the news and the first thing I thought was "STD". Funny how independent minds follow similar paths....

    ^^^^ Yup, this right here.

If I wanted to destroy the Republican party, I would create a candidate exactly like Trump.

As long as Trump is splitting the Conservative/Republican vote, the Dems/Progressives will have a field day. That's the bad news.

On the other hand, there is no "heir" ready to step into Trump's shoes.

His sons are political non-entities with no following, no charisma, and no bravado or bombast or showmanship. Nobody takes them seriously, nor should they. Ditto for Ivanka. And I can't think of anybody else who can marshal red-state support like Trump could.

So when DJT finally kicks the bucket, there's likely no place that his followers will be able to go except either back into the Republican party fold or into self-imposed political exile.

Trumps the biggest insider of them all. Just not in the traditional sense, which makes him seem new, exciting and different. Except he wasnt.
