I'm feeling a little better today. I have a plan to get these guys off my back just need to sell some stuff and they will remove the repo order on my 66 Mustang. And I have a few prospects for employment too thanks to some the guys on here. I will be checking all the leads you guys are giving me too until I find something.

This is why I was looking for something to help with the blues. As much as I knew things looked F.U.B.A.R'd it would get better. That is why doing to unthinkable like hurting myself wasn't even an option.

I'm not out of the woods yet but there is hope that things can turn around for me.

    THANKS MILLION GUYS.
    My avatar is still relevant.

I'm building an arapuca tonight to distract me from family drama.

It's free and will be a great learning experience. If it goes well, I'll make a thread about it.

I had to look it up. There was a survivalist film from Brazil about it.

Working out is always one way but I've been doing a lot of dry firing at home. Of course you have to make sure your firearms is clear...check it a few times to be sure...but you can improve your shooting exponentially by dry firing and can increase your speed (during mag changes on a handgun or AR anyhow) by practicing mag changes.

I had major back surgery seven weeks ago and am still somewhat house bound. I go to therapy twice a week and to the grocery store once and a while. Otherwise, I am here.

No shooting, no traveling, no lifting, no reloading...needless to say what else I can't do. I take Vicodin at night so that I can sleep a little.

Vacation time and sick leave have covered me so far, but that is soon to run out and I have to get back to work. But I don't know how.

I have an old tread mill upstairs and I use it a lot, it helps chase away the "boogey men". My computer friends have been a lot of help too.

So, all I can offer up is this, all those negative thoughts that are running through your brain at any given time are just that, thoughts...and are not necessarily reality. Many times we are the creator of the worst of our boogey men.

As originally popularized by General Joe Stillwell and later Barry Goldwater, "Don't let the bastards grind you down".
