Thanks Troublco - I was wondering about Chow. He's pretty tall and has an awfully long snout though. Maybe Chow/Collie or something? I ordered a DNA test (about $60, but worth it if it can satisfy my curiosity). I'll post the results when I get them...Originally Posted by Troublco
Some chow lines would be my best bet too, a purple tongue is usually a good indicator.

His tongue is all pink... Maybe we should have a pool, and see what the DNA test says. I'll give an old metal AR mag to whoever wins (what can I say - I'm already out $60 for the test).
It's a tough one to call, my best bet would be a chow/retriever mix.

Since "Wolfadoodle" isn't an option, I'll guess a mix of Chow and Poodle. (I'm excluding myself from the pool - just guessing for fun).
