The water came out black. I can see the bottom inside the case and its shiny inside ond out! Great job of cleaning!

Only down side, not that big of deal you can only put 2lbs of brass in following their directions. Ok if your cleaning 9mm, 40 or 45 smaller cases. 300 RUM you can only put in 50 -60 pieces.

And if you check the load and want to reseal the lid make sure the little frickin pins are not on the rubber seal around the lip. Took me a bit to figure out why water was leaking out.

I like it though! Gona start some 45acp next.
I got a small magnet, run it around the seal after opening the lid.

I tried a few different recipes, added vinegar..... the best results for me is the 1 tblsp of Dawn, 1tsp of Lemishine.

Um, maybe I'm missing something, but stainless steel is not magnetic.

It sure the heck is attracted to a magnet. How do you think those magnet gun holsters work?

Plus I just tested it with one of my refrigerator magnets.

The magnet gun holsters work with neodymium magnets that are nickel plated.

I know there are different types of stainless that are slightly magnetic, but they are pretty sparse and not used very often.

Ya, I now keep a small a magnet handy for picking those little buggers up. I'm using Ajax dish soap because it cuts through grease. I think any de-grease soap will work good though.

Take a look at those kitchen knives on the magnetic holder, I'll bet more than a few of them say stainless.
That said, most stainless I've seen thats not a knife is pretty much non magnetic.
