    I think this is a bit too broad of a statement...
    While there are quite a lot of contributions from "Christians and individuals who believed in the Judeo-Christian God", there are also a lot from non-Christians and non-Jews.

    Point taken. Too broad of a stroke on my part.

    The purpose of my post is to attempt to point out that religion and science are not inherently in opposition of each other. There are many brilliant scientific minds from all walks of life, and the pursuit of God has led to many scientific breakthroughs.

    Knowledge is knowledge, and does not have a religious requirement. Nor is it anti-Religious/spiritual/faith/etc by any means.
